How to use Hüma?
Directions: 1 Packet 15 minutes prior to exercise. 1 Packet every 30-45 minutes during exercise. Always consume with water.
What is the shelf life of Hüma?
At the time of manufacturing the better-by date of our gels and smoothies is 3 years and the hydration drink mix is 2.5 years.
Can I consume Hüma gels after the date printed on the pouch?
The date printed on the pouch is “Better-by”, not an "Expiration Date”. The "Better by" is a quality indicator not a product safety indicator. Once the date has passed, the product may lose its freshness, taste, aroma, or nutrients. But it does not necessarily mean that the food is no longer safe to eat. To decide whether the food is still edible, one should rely on their senses (sight, smell, and taste). The product should not be consumed if you find that the package has been opened or damaged.
Do you offer free samples?
Yes, anyone visiting our website for the first time will be prompted to spin a wheel to receive free samples (hint: everybody wins when they spin). Additionally, when signing up to our newsletter, you’ll also be sent a coupon, good for 3 free gels.
Are Hüma products Gluten Free?
Yes, all Hüma products are Gluten Free.
Are Hüma products Kosher?
Hüma is not certified Kosher, however all ingredients used to manufacture Hüma are 100% natural.
Are Hüma products safe for kids?
All Hüma products are made from natural ingredients, so they are safe for kids. Some of our gels do include caffeine, so many parents choose to avoid giving those gels to children.
Why do Hüma products contain sodium, potassium and magnesium?
Sodium, potassium, and magnesium are essential electrolytes that help minimize cramping associated with intense exercise.
What is the caffeine source in Hüma gels?
We utilize green coffee beans as a caffeine source
Can I eat Hüma products while pregnant?
Many women enjoy our recovery smoothies while pregnant or breast feeding; however, we recommend consulting your personal physician before consuming any Hüma products during your pregnancy.
How to become Hüma ambassador?
We typically open up the application period in November/December each year. We announce via email and social media, so be sure to sign up to our newsletter and follow our social media pages.
Our selection process doesn’t focus on “elite” athletes only. We’re looking for athlete who truly love Hüma and are passionate about sharing their experience with our products on their social media pages.
Do you sponsor events?

How do I become a Hüma wholesaler?
If you own a business that offers nutritional items and would like to add Hüma, send an email to questions@humagel.com with a link to your website, location, and short description of your business (limited to stores/shops in the US only).
Where can I find Hüma products in the US?
Hüma products are available in the US at humagel.com and Amazon and over 1000 retail locations. If you have a local run store or bike shop, it’s highly likely they carry Hüma.
I live outside the USA, is Hüma available or can you ship to me?
Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally. However, we work with distributors in nearly 30 countries around the world who either sell direct via their website or resell to local stores and shops. Here’s a list of countries for which Hüma can be found – Hüma International
When will my order arrive?
We ship via USPS Priority or First Class mail and packages are processed and shipped same-day or the next business day. Typically, packages are delivered within 2-4 business days, but there may be unforeseen delays beyond our control.
I accidently ordered to the wrong or incorrect address
In the case your shipment is delivered to the wrong shipping address (this mistake often happens when multiple shipping addresses are present in the browser autofill), the customer is fully responsible for the shipping and shipment costs and no refunds will be issued. If the shipment is returned to our facility, a refund will be applied to the original purchase.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, orders over $60 in the Continental United States receive free ground shipping! When your product “subtotal” reaches $60 free shipping will default in the cart. If you are using a discount code, the “subtotal” will be adjusted accordingly, so you may need to add additional items to elevate the total to the $60 threshold.
Is Hüma packaging recyclable?
Hüma is packaged using a specialized material combined with a PET plastic and a thin aluminum layer. These metalized films are recyclable and should be recycled to reduce waste. However, they are generally regarded as “hard to recycle” so check with your local recycling facility whether this type of material is accepted.
What if my order status says "Delivered" and I do not have it?
Hüma is NOT RESPONSIBLE for missing orders that show status "DELIVERED" on our shipping vendor tracking.
1. Carriers often mark shipments as "Delivered" before the actual delivery.
2. Packages are sometimes delivered to neighbors (please check before inquiring).
3. We highly recommend purchasing the low-cost insurance option during checkout provided by Shipaid.
